Choir Concert

Monday night was the NC Boys Choir concert at the Duke Chapel. There were over 600 people there! When it wasn't our turn, we sat in these pews on the right of the stage. When it was intermission, we came downstairs and talked and had some snacks. Then, we came back upstairs and we sang. I had to sit and do nothing for 5 hours! I sang 5 songs which were: Where Can We Find Peace, Peace Peace Peace, While By My Sheep, How Brightly Shines The Morning Star, and I Saw Three Ships. It only took, like, 5 minutes. I've been saying 5 a lot. When it was over, I went to Panda Express and I got a cookie. My parents were so proud of me. It felt really good. So that's what I did!

10-Mile Bike Ride

Today, I biked all the way from my house, to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and back. I had such a great time! There were uphills and downhills, but I could handle it. My whole family went to UNC Campus and also biked around Morehead Planetarium. It was SOOO fun! The doughnuts were really good, too. I was really scared at first. But then, I did it and it was amazing! My mom and dad were very proud of me. I am going to do it again!

Billy Elliot

Last Saturday, I saw the best musical EVER! It was Billy Elliot and it was so wonderful! The theater was really cool and so was the show. It had great songs, dancing, backgrounds, and everything! They also had these cookies that were really good. My brother, Jake, thought it was kinda loud and didn't like it as much as me. I thought that was the best show ever! It was also really funny. I hope when I go to Kansas City for Thanksgiving, I can see it with my Grandma!

Boy's Choir

Last Tuesday I got in to the North Carolina Boy's Choir! I was so happy because they picked me and some other kids out of the 200 kids they saw audition! I thought it was really fun. We also played outside---at night! We sang some songs like "This Is My Country" and "Alleliua". In fact, those were the only songs we learned. The teacher was nice and I think I made some new friends! We got these papers about how to pose when you're singing & sitting when you're singing. We circled who were sitting and standing correctly. Then we sang practice notes just to get warmed up. At the end, we got Hi-C and Utz Potato Chips for a snack! My Mom and Dad were both very impressed and proud. I'm glad I auditioned for Boy's Choir! Oh, and when we go to concerts and stuff, we get to go all over the United Staes, Europe, and Canada! The kids last year got to stay overnight and went to a battleship, the beach, and lots of other places! It looks like a whole lot of fun!

2 stories

Today I did my best run ever! Usually, when I run, I run out of breath, start wheezing, and feel really sore. But today, I didn't do any of that stuff! I did SOOOO much better. I even felt better. It was absolutely awesome!

I also did auditions for North Carolina Boy's Choir and I think I have a great singing voice but I don't mean to brag. Anyway, I just thought that I had a great time at the auditions. All I did was just sing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat", Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do and say la La LA La la. And it was very fun.

My Baby Cousin, Clyde

Yesterday, My aunt had a baby! We were actually waiting for a month for the baby to come. I was VERY excited for the baby. I am so happy because on Thanksgiving, we get to see the baby and hold him! I am keeping that thought in my head. I got a picture of him in email and I thought he was just the most precious thing ever. I loved him with all my heart. Now I will have 3 cousins!

My VERY Funny YouTube Video

Today I created a video on YouTube called "Banana Droid". I worked very hard on it and I used iMovie to make it. I think it is the funniest video I've ever made! This is actually my 40th video on YouTube and I am very happy. I created my YouTube channel because I thought I could make very funny videos. I thought my brother would think it's really funny, and I decided to go for it. Here is the link to my YouTube channel:

Experincing Virtual Reality

When I went to the Science Expo at UNC campus, there was a virtual reality game that I got to do! What you do is you put on these goggles and headphones, then there is a voice that tells you what to do. You pick up these balls and put them in targets to go on with the level. When you look up, down, left, right, it looks like you're in a completely different room. There is also a part where it looks like you're about to fall off a really big ledge but you can walk on the air. When other people weren't doing it, they could look at 2 computers that showed the game I was playing. One screen was for my left eye, and the other was for my right eye. I did that 3 times and every time felt really cool!

Running a 5k

I ran a 5k last weekend. It was very tiring because my feet were extremely sore and painful but I just kept on going. I had a t-shirt that said "Boudrauix Butt Paste" which is actually a team name. I didn't stop the whole entire time & I just kept on going & going. Some I walked and some I ran. Every once in a while, there was people saying "Yeah! Keep on going! Almost there!". When I saw the finish line, I tried to sprint as fast as I could. I went like ZOOM! Then I saw my Dad passing by! He joined me and we both sped towards the finish line. We did it! Everyone cheered. I felt very proud of myself and so did my Dad. I was VERY glad I went.

My Bike Ride

The path at the pool to Solomons has curves and it is also straight. It is very long and you can go on a little road that is only made for bikes. You can see deer crossing the bike path and they have white horns and there skin is a light orange. The path also goes on rocks and it is very bumpy. There is also a small ditch There is a big river with gray rocks and we walk our bikes on a downhill, cross the river and go up the uphill. Then you can see a bridge around lots of long weeds and grass. Then we walk up a very big uphill which is covered in orange sand and rocks. When you look forward, you can see 2 streets for cars & one street for bicycles. But we don't go up there. Then you walk the bikes down the orange hill, into the long grass and weeds, then start bicycling again. After you ride on the rocky trail, you get back on the road and head on home.
